The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2004 introduces the requirement for a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA).

Organisations involved in the carriage of Dangerous Goods, or the related loading or unloading, must appoint a suitably qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to advise on all Health, Safety and Environmental Matters.
